Membership & Pricing

Padel People Boston brings indoor padel to Punchbowl Lane in Brothertoft (PE20 3SB), a short drive out of Boston on a long rural Roman road — car access matters more than public transport here. The club fits the Padel People brand pitch: community-first rather than premium-priced, with competitive hire rates and a welcoming vibe for beginners through intermediate players. Setup is two full-height indoor doubles courts plus two singles courts, with a pickleball court and seating in the entry/social area. High ceilings and a solid playing surface get strong feedback; spacing around the doubles courts is tighter than big-box venues, and summer heat indoors is a recurring complaint (limited airflow / no air con flagged in reviews). Book on Playtomic; coaching with Marcus (and Bobby) covers intro lessons through intermediate drills and Americanos.

Facilities

Annual membership is £25 per month and includes 20% off all court bookings plus 28-day advance booking rights — aimed at regulars rather than one-off visitors. Non-members book pay-as-you-play: peak roughly £18–£36/hour and off-peak £9–£18/hour depending on slot. Academy-style activities on Playtomic include Beginners Coaching, Social / Beginners / Intermediate Americanos from around £15. WhatsApp community groups are the brand's main social glue across locations. No membership required just to try a first lesson.

I’ve been having coaching sessions with Marcus at The Padel People in Boston, and it’s been a brilliant experience. Marcus is a super friendly coach who creates a great learning environment. The sessions are focused on intermediate-level drills, covering a wide variety of shots and match situations, which has really helped improve my game. The coaching is excellent value for money, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their padel to the next level.

Great facility to have nearby, good space and system to be checked in, with the app is super easy to book. We had a lesson with Marcus as we had never played before. Marcus was patient and professional, good start for a first experience with paddle. We hope to visit very soon again. Thank you!

People Padel Boston is a genuinely good padel venue when compared with other clubs I've played at around London and Oxford. Considering the lack of venues in the surrounding area, it's absolutely fantastic. I played two matches while up visiting family over a warm bank holiday for context on this review. Starting with the positives: The courts themselves are excellent. The playing surface is top quality, and the high ceilings give the space a great, open feel that makes a real difference when you're actually in play. The owners have clearly considered how to best set up the venue to encourage good gameplay, which should be the priority for any club. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a friendly vibe that makes newcomers feel at home straight away. The entry area is a great space with a pickleball court and relaxed seating that has the bones of a fantastic social space. You can already imagine it buzzing on a weekend with people hanging around between sessions (if they can get an alcohol licence). Pricing is also very competitive, which is a big deal for a sport that can sometimes feel inaccessible, it's clear the club wants to build a real community here. That said, there are a couple of things worth flagging. The venue does run quite warm inside, and with limited airflow options into the playing areas, it can get uncomfortable during longer sessions, a challenge for any indoor club but something to be aware of as we head into the summer months. There are only two doubles courts, and the spacing around them is tight enough that out of court play isn't really an option. There are 2 singles courts they have fitted into the space to maximise commercial viability, considering the space this seems like a fair compromise. The location of the club is a short drive out of town on rural lanes which means those without a car might find it a challenge to get to the club. The potential this club has is enormous. With some investment in ventilation, the addition of a bar in the social area and ideally an indoor-outdoor space that opens things up on warmer days, People Padel Boston could be an incredible sport and social space. The foundations are absolutely there. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, and very much one to watch as it develops.
