I would have given a 2 and a half, however it doesn’t have that option. As a soon to be former member of blue coats and a long term customers. Myself and my business partner are extremely disappointed in the level of organisation and cleanliness this group have to offer. Firstly if you have a busy life style and like to hit the gym then mindlessly indulge in a lovely sauna session to start or finish your day you can forget about it unless you plan your day around pupils lesson, training or aqua splash, the door to your paid subscription will be closed. The parking situation is and has always been a nightmare and the ticket warden loves it. The changing rooms and showers are actually quite nice, WHEN they are clean. Most of the time they stink like a backed up drain. Besides this the staff are lovely and very welcoming, not a single bad sole in sight, the facilities and classes they have to offer are I’m sure, very useful to most. But in conclusion if you are a busy person like ourselves and you do not have the time for the inconveniences and inconsistencies then spend the extra £20 and go to Cottesmore. You won’t regret it. Do better Bluecoats.

I have been using using BCS for just over a year now and it has become lime a second home. Great gym with top facilities and membership is great value for money if doing multiple classes each week. Staff are knowledgeable, approachable, always smiling and clearly have a passion for ensuring you get best from your workout or classes. BCS is fully inclusive and offers classes to suit all ages and abilities. Thankyou Bluecoats for building such a great community and executing an outstanding and successful 2025 members day. 👏👏

Had a jump and play party here and it was absolutely brilliant - the staff and set up was incredible. Great value for money and the kids loved it, would definitely recommend!

so fed up trying to park at the gym, sometimes having to wait 15mins for a space that im cancelling membership. i dont have time to sit in my car when i should be working out. its just a frustration when i’m coming to the gym to unwind
