Padel Studios in Exhall bills itself as Coventry’s first indoor padel and wellness centre: three panoramic Mejorset courts in a warehouse unit on Paragon Way, plus reformer pilates and a recovery studio under the same roof. Booking for padel is through Playtomic, with coaching, social mix-ins, leagues and tournaments (including playful events like Padel and Pizza) around the diary. A WhatsApp community helps players find partners and hear about promos. Free parking and a café make it easy to stay for more than one match.
Facilities
Court hire is pay-and-play via Playtomic rather than a traditional tennis-club subscription. Intro to Padel classes and academy coaching are booked through Playtomic. WhatsApp membership is free for community updates and finding games. Top quality Padel courts with a really nice community of players. Got to take part in the Padel and Pizza tournament which was a good bit of competitive fun set up by the owners. Cafe has a nice selection of drinks and desserts up and plenty of parking space which is a plus!
Played this morning at the new Padel studios in Coventry. I can not fault the place it is exactly what Coventry needed! I’ve played a lot in Spain where Padel is far more common with lots of clubs around this is well up there with the best I have played at. Don’t hang about booking I imagine this place is going to be popular!
Paddle place is nice, however due to the poor management I’ve got no choice but to give it a 1star. Most of us who play work during the day and want to play paddle from around 5pm - 10pm as anything earlier is not possible and later gets to late. Due to the constant leagues throughout the week that take every single booking from 5pm -10pm leaves the non league players the worst times possible. Which is just ridiculous.
The owners are a lovely and friendly bunch of lads who are clearly very passionate about the sport. The selection at the cafe is also very well priced compared to other spots, and the vibe and decor of the place is very welcoming. The courts are also very high quality and great to play on. Definitely recommend a visit!
Padel is 39 degrees is not the one. The courts are great quality, the staff are friendly and the bar is useful. However, having no air conditioning in a unit is one thing, but not having fans or free moving air is unacceptable. It wouldn’t cost a lot to put in a bunch of ceiling fans, which you would expect as a bare minimum. The on court temperature today was 39 degrees, which is just unacceptable. I’m surely this’ll be much improved in the autumn and winter months, but I won’t be returning until then.
