East Coast Padel brought Hull its first dedicated padel courts, opened at Active+ on Harpings Road / National Avenue (HU5 4JF), about ten minutes from the city centre. Four local friends built the club to make the sport accessible on the East Coast rather than a premium-only destination: court hire from around £4 per person, racket vending on site, and long daily hours (6am–11pm). The setup is three courts inside the Active+ leisure complex — two covered doubles courts (one branded The Cupra Court) plus a singles court — so you get weather protection on the main doubles courts without a full warehouse arena. Coaching schedules (including Coach Abby’s programmes) and club leagues with multiple divisions keep regulars progressing; reviews often mention helpful coaches for first sessions. A Cleethorpes site is flagged as coming soon on the website, but this listing is the Hull Active+ venue. Bookings, cancellations and payments all run through Playtomic under East Coast Padel - Hull.
Facilities
Strictly pay-and-play via Playtomic — no compulsory club membership. Standard booking window is up to 14 days ahead; each user may hold a maximum of 2 active bookings and 2 bookings per day. Cancel via Playtomic up to 24 hours before for a full automatic refund; within 24 hours refunds only apply if courts are unplayable (club discretion). In severe weather the club may close covered/outdoor play and offer rearrange or Playtomic wallet credit.
