About

Padel + Play Telford is a brand-new indoor padel club in the Halesfield industrial area of Telford, Shropshire, and the largest site yet from the same owners behind the Worcester/Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon clubs. It opened publicly around mid-September 2026 after Spanish-built courts were installed across Units 6–13, Halesfield 20 (TF7 4QU). The pitch is a premium social hub: come for the padel, stay for café time, coaching, and community events rather than a bare warehouse of courts. Opening hours mirror the sister clubs at 07:00–23:00 daily, so early and late slots are part of the offer. Around seven staff, including coaches, support beginners through social and competitive play.

Facilities

The Telford club has six fully indoor courts: five doubles courts plus one dedicated singles court, giving weather-proof play year-round. Courts were imported from Spain and erected by Spanish engineers. Supporting amenities include an on-site café and Mediterranean-style social space in the middle of the venue, modern changing rooms and showers, secure lockers, complimentary Wi‑Fi, free on-site parking, and equipment hire including rackets and balls. Brand FAQs also describe a premium café and smoothie bar with coffee, juices, snacks, and alcoholic drinks for post-match socials. The Padel Directory lists an equipment shop and licensed bar among facilities. Lighting and indoor walls support evening play across the long daily window.

Membership & Booking

You do not need to be a member to play. All court bookings run through Playtomic (app or website); search for Padel + Play Telford, book up to seven days ahead, with member priority booking available for those who join. Drop-in hire is the default path for visitors. Coaching covers group and private one-to-one sessions for beginners through advanced players; contact the club or staff on site for timings and pricing. Opening weekend offered free 30-minute taster sessions, signalling a beginner-friendly culture. Ongoing programming includes coaching sessions, tournaments, padel socials, ladies-only socials, Saturday pizza-and-padel style evenings, and business networking sessions. Rackets and balls are available to hire so newcomers can play without buying kit first.
