Barrio Padel Nottingham sits at Holme Pierrepont Country Park — home of the National Water Sports Centre — on Adbolton Lane, West Bridgford (NG12 2LU). Four covered premium panoramic courts opened in summer 2026, billed as the Midlands' first fully accessible padel site, with lake views over Holme Pierrepont. Founded by Matt Bennett and Matt Shenton (company formed April 2025), Barrio partners with Leisure Solutions Community Trust and Nottinghamshire County Council. The name means neighbourhood in Spanish, and the club leans hard into inclusive, social play — including Inclusive Padel events — rather than a closed members-only model. Head coach Nathan and a café/bar in the main building round out the experience.
Facilities
Pay-and-play via Padel Mates — no membership required to book. Coaching available including lessons with head coach Nathan. Free introductory sessions featured at the Holme Pierrepont Big Open Weekend launch. Inclusive Padel sessions have been hosted on site. Instagram and WhatsApp community channels for announcements. Further Barrio neighbourhood clubs planned across the region.

Fantastic place to play padel! The courts are great, the atmosphere is really welcoming and the view over Holme Pierrpont makes it a really unique place to play padel. All the staff are really friendly - I had a brilliant lesson from the head coach Nathan, he was really patient and encouraging. Highly recommend Barrio Padel to anyone
