Über den Club
HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn is a long-established multi-sport club on the Venusberg above Bonn, with roughly 1,400 members across hockey, tennis, and padel. Two outdoor padel courts sit on the Saalestraße campus in green surroundings about 150 metres above the Rhine—typically two to three degrees cooler than the city centre. Padel arrived as a modern add-on to eleven outdoor tennis courts, three indoor tennis halls, hockey pitches, and a busy club restaurant. The club promotes padel as easy to pick up, doubles-focused, and social, with a WhatsApp group for finding partners and hearing about events.
Ausstattung
Two outdoor padel courts—labelled Padel 1 and Padel 2 on Playtomic—are playable year-round. The wider Venusberg site includes outdoor and indoor tennis, artificial and natural-grass hockey pitches, and club gastronomy where players hire rackets and buy balls; members get free racket rental, guests pay a small fee. The restaurant draws a summer crowd and doubles as the hub for padel equipment. Recent visitors describe the outdoor court as attractive; bad-weather bookings can be cancelled at short notice by contacting the club.
