Über den Club
Padel and tennis club Niederwalgern is a department of SG Niederwalgern/Wenkbach e.V. on a rural sports ground at the edge of Niederwalgern in central Hesse, near Weimar an der Lahn. In June 2022 the site added two World Padel Tour-standard outdoor courts, the first padel facility in the region with the next alternatives more than 50 kilometres away. The club presents padel as an accessible mix of tennis and squash for families and groups, set alongside three sand tennis courts in quiet countryside reachable by car or the Main-Weser-Bahn stop in the village.
Ausstattung
Two outdoor WPT-conform padel courts with glass and mesh walls sit next to three clay tennis courts on the SG Niederwalgern/Wenkbach grounds. Player reviews highlight floodlighting for evening sessions. The club runs seasonal trial sessions and group or corporate packages for companies wanting an introduction to padel. Membership enquiries, court booking and taster sessions go through info@padel-niederwalgern.de or the website contact form. Follow on-site signage from the village rather than relying solely on sat-nav. The volunteer-run club keeps fees comparatively low through community work obligations.
Mitgliedschaft & Buchung
Tennis and padel are available only to club members. Adults pay 300 euros per year or 25 euros monthly for combined tennis and padel rights, plus 31 euros annual fee to the parent SG. Children and juniors up to 17 pay 150 euros yearly or 12.50 euros monthly plus 15 euros SG fee; a tennis-only junior option costs 25 euros per year. Partners and additional family members from 18 pay 200 euros yearly or 16.70 euros monthly. A promotional three-month padel membership costs 50 euros. Guest play costs 10 euros per hour but only when accompanied by a member. Adults owe five volunteer hours per year; 16-17 year olds owe three.

FAQs
Gut zu wissen
Google lists the site as open 24 hours, which likely reflects flexible member court access rather than staffed reception. The homepage once advertised trial play from spring 2025 and Wednesday tasters in fair weather per member posts. Downloadable membership forms and a price matrix sit on the Mitglied werden page. An OP YouTube report is linked from the homepage documenting the 2022 court build.
