Sobre el club
Ames Padel Center is a large indoor padel club in Firmistáns, Ames, on the outskirts of A Coruña. Rebranded under new management in September 2024, it runs nine covered courts — including a central panoramic WPT show court and several sponsor-branded WPT surfaces — with refreshed lighting, a new reception area, and an on-site cafeteria. The club hosts Galician federation events, Padel Nuestro tournaments, and local league matches, and houses a Padel Nuestro retail store. Ames Padel Academy offers coaching for all ages, with instructors such as Borja, Carlos, and Gastón mentioned by regulars. Free parking, equipment hire, changing rooms, lockers, Wi-Fi, and a children's play area round out the setup. It is one of the busiest padel venues in the Santiago comarca, bookable through Playtomic.
Instalaciones
Nine indoor padel courts in total: one central panoramic WPT court and eight further courts, several with WPT-spec artificial turf and updated LED lighting after the 2024 renovation. On-site Padel Nuestro Santiago shop, cafeteria and snack bar, equipment rental, disabled access, free private parking, changing rooms, lockers, and Wi-Fi. Some courts use sand-free turf variants. The venue stages federation youth championships, express tournaments, and weekend leagues. Instagram is the club's main social channel; court availability and payments run through Playtomic.

Preguntas frecuentes
Bueno saber
Located at Firmistáns 10A (15895 Ames), the club sits in the Bugallido area with straightforward road access from Santiago. Summer indoor sessions can feel warm when the building heats up, so evening slots are popular. After the 2024 refurb, most players report much better court visibility than before. The club competes with other Santiago-area venues but stands out for its nine-court indoor capacity and tournament calendar.

Ok
Visibility on the courts is poor, the lights are badly placed, and there are shadows on the court. And don't even get me started on the massive icebox inside...it's unbelievable. I wouldn't pay to play there even if you paid me, plus it's far from everything. It has good parking, but the changing rooms are tiny for so many courts. The staff is quite friendly!
Easy parking, the slopes are very good, several are sand-free, and there's a nice cafe area for drinks.
New management and name as of September 2024: AMES PADEL CENTER Renovated club: indoor courts (1 panoramic), 4 WPT lawns, new lighting, reception area, and cafeteria...
Good courts with decent lighting, and they have a café bar, but in summer you can't play there; it's like an oven and has no ventilation.
