David Lloyd Poole offers brand new padel courts as part of their comprehensive health club facilities. The padel courts are the perfect place to play this exciting and rapidly growing sport, featuring the highest quality facilities and the best racquets coaches. Padel is included in the Platinum membership package, which gives full access to racquet sports. Once games are over, players can relax in the Clubroom with coffee or food, unwind in the hydropool or sauna, or use the excellent gym equipment to build up padel muscles on non-match days. The facility operates as a full-service health club with extensive amenities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa facilities, gym, exercise classes, family facilities, and social areas. The padel offering is integrated into the overall club experience, allowing members to enjoy padel alongside other activities. The club is located right by Hatch Pond Nature Reserve with free on-site parking available.

Just had a wonderful tour of the club by Chloe. Chloe was a breath of fresh air and made me feel really welcomed and comfortable. Very understanding and enthusiastic of what I was looking for. Chloe showed me around the club explaining all the facilities and offered advice for how to take my first steps. The club is clean and modern with a huge variety of equipment. Now super excited to get started on my fitness journey, with Chloe's help I signed up straight away!
We had a great experience visiting the gym, thanks to Lauren. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Lauren took the time to show us around, explain all the facilities, and answer our questions with a genuine smile. Her friendly and approachable attitude made us feel comfortable and excited about the gym. You can really tell she cares about helping people feel at ease. Big thanks to Lauren for making the whole visit so positive!
Poole David Lloyd is a really great club. The staff are really professional & approachable. Jordan was especially helpful today & the reception staff always greet you with a smile & answer any questions. The Club App is brilliant & you can book your classes a week ahead. The club has a large gym with a wide range of machines & free weights with plenty of exercise classes everyday. It’s a great club to relax at with really nice indoor & outside heated pools.
Amazing staff! Mills really went above and beyond and stuck out to me as a lifeguard. She had a great attitude towards myself and other customers and really just had a bubbly, happy personality which just made our experience that much better!! 5 stars for mills!
On my recent trip down, I had the joy of meeting a brilliant young lifeguard called Ben. He was super helpful and informative to talk too and sorted out all our problems. Furthermore he delivered a super engaging sports squad in the kids club which my youngest enjoyed thoroughly. Thank you to Ben and his amazing work effort ♥️
