Torquay Tennis Club is extremely proud and excited to be one of the first clubs in Devon to offer padel tennis, one of the fastest growing sports in the world. The club is steeped in history and continues to provide exceptional tennis opportunities for all ages and abilities, having welcomed many well-known names over the years. Based just off the main sea front in Torquay, the club has immaculate grounds containing 9 outdoor tennis courts, 3 indoor tennis courts, 2 mini courts, pickleball courts, 1 padel court, a hitting wall, and a welcoming clubhouse to socialise in. The club is proud of its facilities, staff, and members, with a vibrant and ambitious atmosphere that is always happy to introduce new players to the game. The coaching programme is run by professional LTA accredited coaches and has helped many players improve their game and enjoy competitive tennis at club, county, and country level. The club continues to run one of the largest tournaments in the country known as 'The Torbay Open' (held in Torquay since 1891) and each August welcomes players from all over the country for a week-long event. The padel facility was introduced to provide an exciting new sport option that is easy to pick up, lots of fun, and a great way to get active and make new friends. The club offers regular social sessions for both beginners and intermediate players, with equipment provided, making it accessible for everyone to try this exciting sport.

Nice club but like most tennis clubs it's just too expensive for most people.. Shame as I'm sure we would have a lot more players with ability in the UK if they could lower the price... However if you can afford it then the facilities are excellent.
Torquay Tennis Club is the perfect venue for a private party. The staff could not do enough to help with my dad's 70th surprise party. I was able to set up for the party in the day and store food items in the kitchen. They offer free parking, reasonably priced drinks, clean modern facilities, and service with a smile. Thank you for being such great hosts!

Super club with a wide range of surfaces and indoor facilities. Staffed clubhouse and outside terrace very handy also has a new Padel court and a couple of Pickleball courts
