About

Manor & Ashbury Resorts is the first UK hotel to offer indoor padel courts, featuring a total of 6 state-of-the-art indoor courts across their two Devon resorts. The Manor House Hotel has 2 indoor padel courts while the Ashbury Golf Hotel has 4 indoor padel courts, making it the largest indoor padel facility in a UK hotel. The resorts are set in the heart of Devon, just 2 miles apart, and offer an outstanding choice of over 70 different sport, golf, craft, leisure and spa activities. The padel facilities are operated in partnership with Padel Mix Ltd, providing expert coaching and structured programmes for players of all levels. The resorts offer 2-night padel coaching breaks with qualified LTA Level 2 padel instructors, including structured training sessions, equipment, and full board accommodation. The padel courts feature high-quality surfaces that have received excellent guest feedback, with one guest describing them as 'the best indoor padel court surface that I have played on in the UK.' The resorts operate as full-service leisure destinations with comprehensive facilities including 103 holes of golf at Ashbury (the world's 9th largest golf resort), hydro spas, craft workshops, family activities, and extensive dining options. The padel offering is integrated into the overall resort experience, allowing guests to enjoy padel alongside other activities during their stay. The resorts cater to families, groups, and individuals looking for active breaks with professional coaching and social play opportunities.

Five star service in this unique 'resort' where you will never be bored or hungry! But the rooms are 'tired' ... ours needed multiple small repairs as well as a more modern 'look'. The food is plentiful and tasty and the self service system well organised. And the number and variety of activities on offer truly incredible! To sum up, the Manor House is not stylish or posh, and some investment is needed. But it is very well run and the staff friendly and efficient. We had a really good time!

Fabulous location for walks and exploring the north Moor. The food here is superb. The beds are comfortable. And the staff are very helpful.

great for golf and virtually any other sport. food it good but accommodation stinks. a room for 3 is 3 beds in a room for 2 with a bathroom where the toilet is not separate from the bathroom and there is not a big enough gap between beds 2 and 3 to fit a bed side table. If you are 3 you need to book a family room to get more space. rating would have been a 4 but for this

Great place to stay and do sports or crafts. Good food, brand new padel courts at both Manor and Ashbury sites, brilliant place for a stay cation.

It is a good hotel rooms are clean, a lot of activity, affordable price, food quality and variety not good enough , vegan and gluten free are limited, no toddler or kids menus. I don’t recommend kids and toddlers to try the food. Only can have their breakfast. Only food Otherwise I grunted everyone will enjoy their times.
