Tenniscentrum Alken (TCA) on Langveldstraat 4 is a large Limburg sports hub where padel sits alongside indoor and outdoor tennis, squash, dance studios and a well-regarded brasserie. Ten outdoor padel courts make it one of the bigger padel clusters in the region, bookable through Tennis Vlaanderen for members, guests and walk-in groups of four. The Vamos Tennis & Padel Academy relocated here in 2025. Reviews split between praise for food and facilities and criticism of bar service and ageing indoor tennis carpet.
Facilities
Book via Tennis Vlaanderen—non-members €24/h off-peak (weekdays before 17:00), €30/h peak and weekends. Annual padel subscription (April–March) gives fixed rates, up to four simultaneous bookings and 14-day advance reservation. Members can add guest players (€6–7.50/h per guest). Interclub and tournaments run through the padel section.

2025 November 9th, 4:00 PM. For a first time visiting this place, I had a very bad impression and bad experience of the bar service. I came alone with my two babies, and the waitresses were just awful: while I was reading the menu from a table, one of them just took it from me, and shout "you can sit there" without a smile, pretty aggressively, and... that's it. I waited at the table for 15 minutes, I could not really move away from my babies, the waitresses looked at me, and... No question about an eventual order? I left this place in a worst mood than I came in. 😒 Eventually, my plan was to discover the restaurant and maybe bring my family and friends to eat there. Maybe the food is good, maybe it was a bad day for the waitresses? Thanks again, and see you next time 👋🏼 Maybe not.
The judge referee was so rude, politeness wouldn’t hurt ! It’s shameful.
The staff is very friendly. The place is clean! The food is delicious and served properly! Highly recommended for working out and/or eating!
TOP! Always super tasty. Highly recommended. Something for everyone & also for atmosphere and coziness: 10/10. ++ One of the few places where you can keep choosing between all the dishes, even in a larger group.
Definitely do not eat or drink here: you are simply being ripped off. The tennis facilities also leave a lot to be desired. The indoor courts (carpet) are in particularly poor condition. Additionally, the match officials are completely incompetent, arrogant, and very unfriendly, which makes the whole experience even more frustrating. My advice: stay away from here. That way, you will save yourself a major disappointment.
