Membership & Pricing

Sportcentrum De Raes, also known as Sporthal Heers, is the municipal sports complex of the municipality of Heers in Limburg, Flanders. On the municipal website it presents itself as a place where residents can book indoor hall time and outdoor courts on the same site at Raes Van Heerslaan. Among the outdoor offer is a dedicated padel court, listed first among three outdoor pitches that visitors can use. The padel court sits alongside a multi-use tennis, volleyball and badminton court and a football and basketball area, so the venue works as a mixed sports hub rather than a padel-only club. Indoor hall bookings are handled by phone through the centre contacts named on the page. Outdoor padel is open to the public with paid hire, and the municipality can take priority for lessons or organised activities. A cafeteria on site supports players who need rackets or balls during café opening hours.

Facilities

There is no club membership package described for padel at Sportcentrum De Raes. Outdoor courts, including the padel court, are described as open to everyone, with paid hire for padel and for the tennis, volleyball and badminton court. Padel hire is priced at €12 for one hour, €16 for 1.5 hours, and €20 for two hours. Sessions can be reserved for one, one and a half, or two hours, up to three weeks ahead, online or by phone. Cancellations must be made at least one hour beforehand the same way the booking was made; weather that makes play impossible is taken into account. No-shows are charged for the full session, and a booking can lapse if players have not arrived within fifteen minutes of the start without notice. The municipal administration always has priority for lessons and activities. Separate community sport classes under Heers Beweegt (such as BBB and 60+ in beweging) also use Sportcentrum De Raes and sell a €25 ten-session card after free trial lessons, but those are general fitness programmes rather than padel memberships.

It was good, now it has a new owner, the atmosphere is gone, the pool table is gone, and it's too busy to take an order.

Nice sports complex for a wide variety of sports. I personally go there for padel, as there is an official outdoor court. It is ideal to visit with friends or children, as there is a medium-sized playground with a football pitch.
