Padel 4U2 Gent opened on 1 July 2012 as Belgium's first dedicated padel club, and it remains a landmark venue in Gentbrugge near the Wouter Weylandt athletics stadium. The site has grown into a busy community hub where beginners, league players, juniors and corporate groups mix on court every day. Eight doubles courts and one singles court sit alongside a beach-volleyball court, the Fit 4U2 fitness box, a padel shop, cafeteria and large terrace. Initiations, lessons through the NXT Padel Academy, teambuildings and interclub competition keep the calendar full. Whether you drop in once or play weekly, the club pitches itself as the place many Belgians first caught the padel bug.
Facilities
Pay-and-play is open to everyone via the Playtomic app, with bookings up to one week ahead. Off-peak doubles courts cost €24 per hour and peak €32; singles courts are €12 off-peak and €16 peak. Fantastic padel club. Great courts and super friendly staff. We spent the whole day there, and it’s by far the best and friendliest club we’ve ever played at. Simply wonderful 👍
I was at Padel 4u2 for last year Asanti & Tibeflex Open 2019, FIP Star tournament. In my opinion, it's one of the best club in vlaanderen. (they have covered and open air courts), really cool ambiance, and terasse in front of the main court. Padel is booming in Belgium and it's nice to see clubs promoting Padel so well (I was there as a photographer in May 2019) - Phil MTX
Nice place to play padel. Cool terrasje with view on the courts. If you want to play or spectate a game, this is your place in Gentbrugge. Kids friendly. If I am not wrong it has the possibility to accomodate beach tennis or beach volley.
I booked a padel court to play until 23:00. At 23:05 while we are packing our stuff the lights go out in the courts and in the hallways and everything becomes pitch black. I had to finish gathering my gear in a hurry in the dark and in the freezing cold and walk back in the dark to the bar. Horrible experience. Also the roof is too low, the courts are slippery in winter, and it's freezing. This place is way behind Garrincha. The parking is good and the bar is good.
This padel club is where me and many of my friends play most of the time as it has a good location, central for anyone who lives in Ghent, and has a good variety of single, roofed and outdoor playing field. However, I need to be objective as to the quality of the club. The club is the oldest in Belgium and it is showing its age. The terrains are often very dusty with a lot of sand causing you to slip and catch injuries more easily. The terrains also don’t dry easily after bad weather, with the exception of one or two new fields. In addition, there is too little structured bike parking and the areas around the playing fields are badly maintained (wild growth and unfinished areas).
