Membership & Pricing

Tennis Padel Club Plainchamp (TPC Plainchamp) at Rue du Jeu de Balle 11 in La Louviere–Saint-Vaast reopened under new management in 2021 with a mission to combine quality tennis and padel infrastructure with a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere. The site offers five modern padel courts—three semi-covered panoramics and two fully outdoor—alongside four indoor Green Set tennis courts and four outdoor clay courts. A winter club house and summer chalet with renovated terrace, brasserie (Mon–Thu evenings), billiards, ping-pong and darts create an all-day social hub. Open seven days from 9:00 until 23:00. Parking for around 100 cars. Playtomic handles all public court reservations for tennis and padel; padel affiliation via AFPadel is optional for competitive players.

Facilities

Play as a guest by booking any open slot on Playtomic—no membership required for casual padel or tennis. Tennis seasonal subscriptions range roughly 155–300 euros depending on category (see club site). Padel competition affiliation: register on AFPadel, pay 32 euros affiliation to the club bank account, validation on receipt. Contact tpcplainchamp@gmail.com, 064 46 65 50 (contact page) or Ronny Cordier 064 44 65 50. The 2021 takeover team continues investing in facilities with further upgrades planned. We often talk with other players from different tennis clubs, and more and more people are complaining about the organization of club tennis tournaments, both singles and doubles. This criticism is therefore, in a way, a message on behalf of these players. The first issue is the poor organization of the tournaments, especially in winter, where 80% of the time, matches are delayed by an hour to an hour and a half. This is unbearable, especially considering there are four indoor courts. Some clubs experience fewer delays with fewer courts available. We know the reason for these delays, and we find it regrettable that they benefit the club instead of proper match management. Having recently participated in a doubles tournament and paid the €25 entry fee, the best we received as a reward at the end of the tournament was a bottle of wine that was about as good as cat pee (excuse the language) and a bottle of beer. The worst part is that we couldn't even choose the beer bottle because there was only one left. It was one of the last finals of the doubles tournament, and everyone before us had already taken the "best" ones. Plus, the beer bottle was from August 2024, a year and a half later. I don't know if you realize how ridiculous these prices are. We would have much preferred to just receive tennis balls... And during the tournament, the ball lint wasn't cleaned up once, because by the end it had turned into a yellow carpet. It's a shame it's come to this because the atmosphere at the club is great, the people are really friendly, but there are things that need to change in the organization and professionalism of tennis tournaments, which currently discourage people from registering for them.

In addition to being surprised by the quality of the courts, I was equally surprised by the quality of Chloé's service. THANK YOU PLAINCHAMP ❤️
