Royal Tennis Club Nimy (RTC Nimy) is a historic Montois club founded in 1936 at Chaussée de Bruxelles 31 in Nimy, near Mons. With around 275 members and 160 pupils, it blends competitive interclub tennis—22 adult and 10 youth teams—with a family, festive clubhouse culture. RTC Nimy was the first club in the region to invest in padel, inaugurating its court in 2017. The single outdoor padel court has LED floodlighting but no roof, so play continues after brief rain once the surface dries. Six outdoor crushed-brick tennis courts and three indoor concrete courts with LED lighting complete the site. The bar/clubhouse opens varied hours through the week for post-match drinks and club events from open days to Christmas aperos.
Facilities
Padel booking is open to anyone who creates a free iClub profile—no FFT tennis subscription required. Register at rtcnimy.be Reservez votre terrain, www6.iclub.be/register.asp?ClubID=209, Facebook contact, or the iClub Play app (search RTC NIMY). Tennis members need active club cotisation to reserve courts. Membership and cotisation details sit on the iClub portal under Devenir Membre. Padel pay-as-you-play at 24 euros/h via bank transfer; cancellations free if more than 24 hours ahead. Contact jan@mertens.net.be or 0475 279 729 for padel queries. The club runs large annual tournaments, interclub evenings, and festive meals—competitive and social pathways for juniors through veterans.

A very warm welcome at the interclub matches. A fantastic atmosphere, and the members were so friendly. The evening meals were brilliantly organized. Grilled mussels and lasagna, all accompanied by a wonderful rosé. A club I highly recommend. Thank you! 👍👍

First, we booked a court, and to our surprise, the snack bar was closed upon arrival. Furthermore, someone in my group had booked the day before by phone with the manager himself and had personally agreed to let us play for an hour, but since no one was there when we arrived, we waited for over half an hour before being forced to leave and go play at another tennis club! Not very clean, not many people even for interclub matches
We were hosted there for interclub matches, a great welcome, excellent food and a fantastic atmosphere after the games 😉😊👍
