Royal Tennis Club de Cointe is a long-established tennis club on the Plaine des Sports in Liège's Parc de Cointe, at the top of Boulevard Gustave Kleyer. Padel arrived when two outdoor lit courts replaced the old practice wall, giving the club a second racket sport without leaving its wooded hillside setting. The padel area sits beside clay and Smash Court tennis surfaces, a chalet bar, and a terrace that regulars use after league nights. Two courts, Padel 1 and Padel 2, run on offset schedules so more slots fit into the day. Access is self-service: book on Matchi, receive an SMS digicode, and the lights come on automatically when needed. Interclub padel fixtures run through the season alongside the club's tennis programme.
Facilities
Three routes onto the padel courts: a combined tennis and padel annual membership, a padel-only membership, or casual hourly booking through Matchi without joining the club. Sessions are 90 minutes only. Off-peak slots cost 30 euros; all other times cost 36 euros. Padel members have one quarter of the court fee deducted at checkout and only pay for non-member players in the booking. Sign up on matchi.se, accept the terms, then use the RESERVER tab. Cancellations made at least six hours ahead via Matchi are not charged if weather forces a call-off. From January 2026 bookings migrate to the DOINSPORT platform for both tennis and padel. Interclub padel runs through the season; see the IC PADEL agenda on the club site. Padel queries go to Guy Dequenne at gdequenne@gmail.com or 0495 79 78 62.

Good courts and new furniture in the club house. The area is quite oldish.
I went to ask for help at the bar of this club because, after booking a padel court, I couldn't get my scooter out of the premises as a van was blocking the way. I was very poorly received by the bar staff, who was very rude and disrespectful! He didn't hide his displeasure at the fact that I was bothering him! It doesn't exactly give a good impression of the club, which is a shame!
For quite some time now, we've been doing preventative work regarding the pedestrian zone, and every day my dog almost gets hit by someone driving to the tennis courts, thinking they're in a rally. The tennis club doesn't answer the phone when we try to resolve the issue amicably. And once the police are notified, they wash their hands of it, and one day it will turn into a tragedy with one or more deaths: children riding their bikes, elderly people strolling around thinking they're safe, or your pet on a leash... Respect and civic responsibility are foreign concepts in Cointe... This is an area to avoid... a word to the wise ;-)
A sports venue in the hills above Liège. The place is very welcoming thanks to the friendly staff. The food is very pleasant and delicious.
good quality padel courts at a very reasonable price
