Royal Tennis Club Dottignien is a family tennis club in Dottignies near Mouscron, founded in 1963 and awarded royal status in 2014. Set on the Plaine Haverie beside a clubhouse bar, it serves more than 200 members including 80 juniors in a relaxed, everyone-knows-everyone atmosphere. Three covered outdoor clay tennis courts allow year-round play, and an uncovered outdoor padel court added in 2020 brought the sport to Walloon Picardy. President Rodrigue Stroot leads a volunteer committee running tournaments, regional competitions and a full tennis school from petit tennis through advanced coaching. Padel affiliates register separately with AF Padel.
Facilities
Season 2026–27 fees (tennis season 1 April–31 March): padel only 165 euros per season, juniors under 18 at 155 euros — AF Padel federation card not included, register at afpadel.be. Tennis only summer/winter 210 euros (junior 155 euros), summer only 145 euros. Combined tennis plus padel 310 euros (junior 255 euros). Family tennis packages from 405 euros per couple. Federation insurance included for tennis. Payment to BE11 0682 3194 8548. Lesson blocks from 215 euros for petit tennis through 815 euros for private hourly coaching.
