Membership & Pricing

The Royal Tennis Club Tournaisien is a century-old Belgian club in Froyennes on the edge of Tournai, where tennis has been played since 1922 and padel now shares the Rue de la Borgnette campus. With more than 350 active members, the ASBL runs a family-oriented programme across nine clay tennis courts and three padel lanes. Google reviewers highlight the renovated padel surface, bright lighting, and strict slot management typical of a well-run municipal club. The centenary club balances competition interclubs with holiday stages for children and pay-and-play court hire through its digital booking portal.

Facilities

Padel memberships run through the iClub portal and iClubPlay app, search RTC Tournaisien. Annual padel cotisation is 75 euros for adults and 65 euros for students; unlimited padel passes cost 120 euros for three months, 230 for six, or 430 per year. AFPADEL licence fees apply separately. Pay-and-play court hire is available to non-members; reviewers cite roughly 25 euros per hour. Tennis-plus-padel combined six-month packages exist for adults and juniors. School-holiday stages and year-round group lessons cover both sports. The club is migrating from iClub to BigCaptain but iClub remains active during the transition.

3 padel courts, 2 of which are semi-covered. Bookings can be made via the iClub app at Royal Tennis Club Tournaisien.

Renovated court, unpredictable bounce at the T on court A. Bright lighting. Staff very strict about timing. Price €25 for 1 hour. Showers have hot water. No parking inside.

My son loved his week-long tennis camp and would now like to sign up for year-round lessons. The manager and instructor were very friendly, according to Robin.
