US Argentré Tennis – Padel is the municipal racket club that brought padel to Argentré, a commune east of Laval in the Mayenne (Pays de la Loire). Two glass-and-mesh outdoor padel courts opened officially on 8 March 2025, financed with departmental Héritage Mayenne 2024 support and run by the long-standing tennis section of the US Argentré. Volunteers welcome players at the Complexe Sportif, and the club now brands itself explicitly as tennis and padel. A full-time state-qualified (BE) coach focuses on padel while a second BE covers tennis, backed by a part-time CQP instructor and the communal sports animator. Community events through the season — Octobre rose, International Women’s Day sessions, parent-and-child play days — sit alongside a large tennis school of about 140 children and adult groups from beginner to competition level. PadelSpeak lists the FFT-affiliated club (licence 61530400) with a strong visitor rating, making it the go-to padel spot for Argentré and neighbouring Mayenne villages.
Facilities
Court hire is open to everyone — licensed or not — via the federal Ten’Up app (club 61530400). Pay-and-play was advertised around launch at about €6 per player for a 90-minute slot. Spring and summer package formulas run roughly €52 to €95 depending on age category and whether you live in the commune. Collective padel courses with BE coach Jérémy Langevin typically run for about fifteen weeks once milder weather arrives, plus free discovery slots, women’s initiation days, beginner tournaments and sessions for more confirmed players. Club licences and seasonal inscriptions appear on the Licences page of tennis.usargentre.fr; volunteers and bureau contacts handle membership questions by email. After booking on Ten’Up, check your inbox (and spam) for the ephemeral padel-door code before you arrive.
