Skinup Academy is a multi-racket centre at 19 Rue Gustave Eiffel in Azay-le-Rideau, about 15 minutes from Tours in the Loire Valley château country. Founded in 2020 by president Sophie Duguet and high-performance director Laurence Bois, it pitches itself as the only academy in Centre-Val de Loire combining tennis, padel and pickleball under one roof. Four padel courts — two covered — sit alongside six tennis courts, four pickleball lanes, a team-sports pitch and a medico-sport space. The site launched tennis-études in 2024 and padel-études in 2025 for students chasing competitive pathways while staying in school.
Facilities
Padel court hire around 30 € per hour (peak/off-peak tiers and wallet recharge discounts via the app — check skinupacademy.com for current grid). Youth padel school from age 5: roughly 480 €/year for 90 minutes weekly coaching. Adult group padel lessons and individual sessions available. Twelve-month unlimited-access subscriptions cover padel, pickleball and tennis. Padel licence promotions run seasonally (e.g. 10 € licence with shop discount). Signed up for a discovery session of padel, pickleball, and tennis. Everything was very well supervised by trainee Lucas and instructor Léo; my grandchildren were very happy with the three days. Thank you for them.
We came for a weekend Padel course and were very well supervised by Matthias, a pro and excellent instructor! The sports complex is brand new, with a very pleasant catering service and clubhouse, opposite the tennis courts.
