Membership & Pricing
Centre de Tennis Europa — also promoted as Tennis Padel Europa — is the municipal racket complex on the Colline des Loisirs in Canet-en-Roussillon. Run by the commune, it pairs classic tennis infrastructure with two outdoor padel courts that appear in the French sports-equipment register from 2016. Walk-up players and the resident FFT club Canet 66 Tennis share the site with school groups. The calendar includes youth and open tennis events plus dedicated padel tournaments. Booking runs online or through the club-house reception. Tourism listings note French and English on site; the club also lists Spanish. Court-hire tariffs distinguish outdoor and indoor play for residents and non-residents, so visitors should confirm the current price band when reserving a padel slot.
Facilities
The centre is open to the public for court hire while Canet 66 Tennis anchors club life for tennis and padel. Adults from first sessions to regular players can ask staff to help match partners for recurring games. The tennis school welcomes children aged 4 to 18 with initiation and improvement lessons on Wednesdays and Saturdays; juniors aiming at competition can join a training centre with adapted class schedules. Seasonal camps cover mini-tennis for ages 4–6 plus semi-intensive and full-activity options for older kids. Members and visitors reserve online — including through the FFT Ten'Up platform for the club — or by calling the club-house desk. Club services listed on Ten'Up include equipment loan, racket stringing, and competition entry, with padel marked as available year-round.

Super
The padel is fantastic. Currently, there are two shaded outdoor courts available at the end of the day. The padel coach (Pierre) is really excellent, very patient and friendly.
I just signed my daughter up for the club and I'm discovering its very nice environment. We finally want to spend an hour and a half peacefully watching our children's exploits... benches, deckchairs and shaded areas dot the hillside facing Canigou. Very pleasant. The kindness of the coach doesn't spoil anything of course.
Superb facilities. No problem booking, the receptionists are really nice and helpful. The only downside is the limited playing times. The booking schedule is very restricted. When will they offer open courts?!
Two clay courts will be resurfaced at the end of 2024 to prevent falls, with lighting available for a fee, and there are four resin courts...good facilities and a very good training club for young players! As for the rest, I'm not quite sure what to think...it lacks a bit of "conviviality" for the "middle-aged" age group. Thanks to Nelly and Christine for their warm welcome and availability.
