ASPTT Tennis & Padel Carpentras is a long-standing sports club at the Complexe sportif Pierre de Coubertin in Carpentras (Vaucluse). Founded in 1992, it blends recreational and competitive tennis with padel: men’s and women’s teams play in departmental and regional championships, while the tennis school trains younger players in a calm setting. Padel arrived as a major club project and was inaugurated in October 2021 with municipal, regional, and ASPTT federation support. State-qualified coach Guillaume Oudart teaches tennis and padel for adults (group and private) and children, and also runs sport-santé sessions. Club life includes team training open to all, tournaments, friendly doubles, pétanque, and seasonal barbecues around the clubhouse.
Facilities
Membership covers children and adults, with separate registration forms for the tennis school and adult players on the club website (inscriptions & tarifs). Seasonal offers are listed for each season; for current pricing and questions the club directs players to coach Guillaume Oudart. Courts can be reserved online via Balle Jaune after creating a club account, and the site also points members toward the Ten’Up app for mobile booking. Team training sessions (historically Thursday evenings) are open to all, not only competition players. Contact the club by email for licences, lessons, and padel or tennis court hire.
