The Tennis Club de Crillon-le-Brave trades urban scale for one of the prettiest racket settings in the Vaucluse: two outdoor padel courts and two porous-concrete tennis lanes in greenery at the foot of the hilltop village, with views across the Comtat Venaissin plain. Run by volunteers around president Gilles Girard, the association mixes local members, visiting players and guests from the five-star Hôtel Crillon le Brave who book through the concierge. A modest clubhouse, changing rooms and parking complete the picture. WhatsApp groups help you find a level-matched game. The padel addition turned the club into a village social hub — though holiday renters nearby have complained about evening noise and music carrying into the lanes.
Facilities
All bookings via Balle Jaune — search club name Padel Tennis Crillon le brave. Pay-and-play padel: five euros per person for one hour, seven euros for ninety minutes, nine euros for two hours; ten-hour carnet forty euros per person. Annual padel membership: solo one hundred eighty euros, duo three hundred euros, family four hundred euros (same household). Combined padel and tennis solo two hundred fifty euros. FFT padel licence twenty euros. Finalise annual memberships with Gilles Girard (06 88 95 04 79) at Restaurant Le Saint Romain with ID.

Inge Hostens We rented a house nearby for a week's vacation, and because of the infernal noise from the padel (bangs, people shouting, music, etc.), we couldn't enjoy the peace and quiet that used to reign in this beautiful village. Padel should simply be banned in an area where people also live or are trying to enjoy a week's vacation. The promised sound barriers won't be enough to limit such noise pollution.
A beautiful setting, a really friendly owner, and tennis shoes in excellent condition. I highly recommend it.
