Le Pôle Raquettes is Châtel-Guyon's flagship racket complex, opened in September 2020 on Boulevard Desaix in the Auvergne spa town near Riom. The municipal investment bundles padel with tennis and squash under one roofline and clubhouse, giving locals a modern alternative to older clay clubs in the Puy-de-Dôme. Two outdoor padel courts sit on synthetic grass and book on Ten'Up under that surface label, while tennis players split between carpet indoor courts and outdoor Green Set or resin lanes. Self-service access codes mean you can book at midnight and walk on court at breakfast without chasing a receptionist. Reviews paint a handsome, well-lit site that families discover through school stages; padel and squash add variety when tennis schedules fill up.

Membership and licence questions go to club president Dominique Diaz on 06 66 55 53 69 or the TC Châtel-Guyon Facebook page. Seasonal padel group courses for adults run twenty-five weeks from mid-September at two hundred seventy to two hundred ninety euros depending on one-hour or ninety-minute formats and member status; a competition stream adds coached match play. Ten'Up sells a ten-session ninety-minute padel carnet for one hundred forty euros valid across padel lanes. Individual tennis and padel lessons, holiday stages for children and adults, and perfectionnement blocks are arranged by email at tchatelguyon@wanadoo.fr. Non-members reserve any surface directly on Ten'Up and receive an access code for the gate and court.

I do not recommend this for youth tennis lessons; the team of new generation trainers is on their mobile phones and there is no follow-up with the youngsters, they think they are in a playground, several leave from their homes.
A truly beautiful space to discover. My daughter is thrilled, can't wait for our little match against her 😉
