PLAYER 63 is a multi-sport centre in Pont-du-Château, on the eastern edge of the Clermont-Ferrand urban area. The complex mixes indoor racket sports with five-a-side football under one roof, then hands you off to a restaurant and bar when the match is done. Padel is a headline activity here, with three covered courts built to current standards and kept in good condition year-round. The site pitches itself as a social venue as much as a sports hall: book a court through the app, play with friends, then stay for homemade food or a pint. For anyone around Clermont looking for padel without driving into the city centre, it is one of the more complete options in the area.
Facilities
Book padel, squash, badminton or football through the PLAYER 63 mobile app at any time of day. Padel costs 6 euros per player for 45 minutes off-peak (weekdays 10:00-16:45), 8 euros at peak times (from 16:45 to 23:00 on weekdays, with 90-minute slots), and 7 euros at weekends. A minimum of four players is required per padel booking. Prepaid session packs offer 20 sessions for 130 euros or 50 for 300 euros. Monthly unlimited subscriptions and multi-sport credit cards are also listed on the tariffs page. The events programme covers corporate team-building, official and friendly padel tournaments, and coached group sessions or holiday camps.

The building is nice, with recent facilities, a warm welcome, and a locker room. Arriving at 6 p.m. on weekdays, there's plenty of parking. However, I agree with a review I read: The badminton courts are absolutely not suitable for safe play. It seems as if the two courts were placed where nothing else could be put. The result: The baseline is 30 cm from the wall, and the side lines are also very close. Don't expect to play doubles. It's fine for hitting the shuttlecock gently, but don't expect to play a competitive match because it's far too dangerous to venture to the back of the court. I didn't think to take a photo, but I've attached one found in another review that perfectly illustrates the problem. As for the price, it's a bit expensive (€9/person at peak times, for a full hour), but not astronomical.
A really great place for sports and fun – the padel court is beautiful. The owners are super friendly. Draft beer and delicious homemade pizza are available for a convivial atmosphere. (I didn't try the other dishes.)
Friendly staff, huge dining room, and a great restaurant/bar area. However, the TV on the soccer field doesn't work, and more importantly, the cold water in the shower after 9 pm is unacceptable. That put me off a bit :)
First time I've been to this restaurant, and I recommend it wholeheartedly! Very attractive daily menu, homemade. The menu is simple, effective and tasty! The staff is incredibly kind too! Thank you for this moment, we will come back with great pleasure
