Tennis Club Essartais is a community racket club in Essarts-en-Bocage, Vendee, spread across the Complexe sportif des Essarts and a second site at La Merlatiere. It was the first club in the department to install padel and now runs three outdoor courts: two behind the Essarts swimming pool and one at Etang des Brosses in La Merlatiere. Tennis and padel share a friendly, volunteer-led atmosphere with coaching for juniors and adults, FFT-affiliated tournaments from P25 to P2000, and regular club events. Non-members can try padel through hourly court hire or a three-month discovery licence that unlocks all tennis and padel courts.
Facilities
Hourly padel court rental at 28 EUR per hour (about 7 EUR per player for four). Equipment pack (four rackets and balls) 12 EUR per session. Discovery licence: 45 EUR juniors under 18, 60 EUR adults, giving access to all tennis and padel courts for three months. Full annual memberships and tennis school enrolment via Inscriptions et tarifs on the website. FFT padel licence required for competition play.

The TCE is a fantastic club, young and dynamic, even the older folks will find something to enjoy... whether it's tennis or padel. You can even rent the padel court and rackets there.

We saw a padel court available on the app, we arrived, but there was no one there. We tried calling the manager, but he never answered. In short, I don't recommend this court.
