The Tennis Club Fouesnantais runs two sites in south Finistère: a year-round indoor hall on allée de Lochilaire beside Les Balnéïdes pool, and the summer showcase at Beg-Meil on chemin de Kerlosquen — steps from the beach. Padel lives at Beg-Meil: one outdoor resin court added during the municipality's Kerlosquen renovation programme, alongside four clay tennis courts, a practice wall and a clubhouse terrace. President Jean-Paul Hamon calls it the finest outdoor tennis setting in the département; summer brings holiday rentals, kids' stages and, in August, padel tournaments most weekends. FFT-registered as Club Engagé and Club Formateur, with pickleball also listed on Ten'Up. Google reviews skew positive for tennis and coaching, though one padel player reported a phone booking cancelled without notice when a tournament overran — worth confirming availability before you travel from Quimper.

Beg-Meil summer desk: 06 38 23 53 82 (roughly mid-June to early September, daily 09:00–20:00 in July–August). Indoor tennis reservations via the Balles Jaunes app. Hourly hire and 5h/10h card packages for holiday players; call for current padel rates. Secretary desk Tue–Sat (hours on the club site, reduced in school holidays). Kids' summer stages €115/week at Beg-Meil.

My 5 and a half year old son did the summer camp to see if he'd like tennis and bingo: we're going to sign him up for the fall! We were very well received, the coach was great, everything went well, I highly recommend it 👍

"Share your experience"... I wish! Booking a padel court by phone on Wednesday and finding it closed on Saturday. Thanks for the experience. Thanks also to the person I spoke to on the phone, who didn't think it necessary to warn me beforehand and excused themselves by saying it had rained that morning and that a tennis tournament was in progress. No goodwill gesture, no apology. Beyond being unprofessional, it's disrespectful. Thanks for this pointless round trip from Quimper and this wasted morning. How can we develop sports and practices under these conditions?
