UrbanPadel Rennes Cap Malo opened at the Cap Malo retail park on Avenue du Phare du Grand Lejeon in Melesse, north-west of Rennes on the Saint-Malo axis. Six full-panoramic indoor courts with nine-metre ceiling height and anti-glare LED lighting make it Brittany's large-format UrbanPadel reference site. A padel school launched in autumn 2024 with certified coaches. The D27 access suits drivers from Rennes, Saint-Malo and the northern suburbs; the clubhouse bar anchors après-match socialising inside the shopping-centre footprint.

The grounds and facilities are excellent… BUT the establishment is renovating its changing rooms. There was no mention of this when booking, nor a sign to inform or apologize… So last night, logically, lacking this information, I headed to the changing rooms. They weren't closed off, so I started changing with another customer. I won't even go into the dust and the deplorable state of the place, still without any explanation… until someone came to tell us we couldn't stay in the changing rooms… Part of the bar is also closed off. Same thing: no information, no apology, because yes, last night, we were crammed into the available space. I've been managing construction projects for almost 20 years, and in my opinion, given the size of this area, it would have been perfectly possible to renovate one section while allowing access to another, and then switch things around at the end of the first phase. So we come to exercise, we sweat, and we can't even shower or change properly. But when it comes to charging us €4.80 for a 25cl beer, suddenly they're happy to oblige… Not a single gesture of goodwill, not even a free drink to compensate for the inconvenience. A strange way to treat customers indeed…
Better ceiling height than some competitors. But unfortunately, you have to buy balls yourself and they're not included in the rental.

We had a fantastic time at this place with excellent facilities, ideally located on the Rennes/Saint-Malo route! The staff are very friendly and the bar area is a real bonus among the services offered!
