Tennis de La Hiroire, branded Stade Montois Tennis Padel, sits on the Plaine des Jeux in Mont-de-Marsan (Landes). It is the tennis and padel section of the Stade Montois omnisports club, on a tree-lined site of about three hectares near the town centre. Padel here is framed as a leisure activity: two outdoor floodlit courts, playable year-round according to the club’s Ten’Up listing. The club won Mont-de-Marsan’s 2021 citizen participatory budget support to renovate those padel surfaces. Beside padel, the site lists nineteen tennis courts on clay, soft-clay, porous concrete and mini-tennis, with a further three covered tennis courts five minutes away at La Pouillique.
Facilities
Access runs through Stade Montois Tennis Padel membership with FFT licensing on Ten’Up. Non-members can book tennis or padel courts online by choosing the club, picking a slot and paying by card; members can buy guest (passager) tickets for padel or tennis companions. A seasonal “Padel à 6€” offer prices a session at 6 euros per person through August 2026, with racket and ball hire included, and 5 euros for students. Full annual tariff grids appear as “Tarif Tennis-Padel” on the club site; registration typically needs a medical certificate or health questionnaire, an ID photo and payment (instalments possible). The hostess was extremely incompetent. Despite our reservation, we were unable to play, even though she assured us the courts were playable. An hour's drive for nothing.
Friendly welcome and pleasant setting
A very, very nice sports complex with lots of tennis courts.
A pleasant place where tennis and padel tennis coexist.
