Tennis Padel Club Carreau de Lanes is a private racket complex on the northern edge of Nîmes, set along Chemin du Carreau de Lanes in green surroundings away from the city centre. The club pairs three tennis courts with four padel lanes — two indoor and two floodlit outdoor — so players can book year-round regardless of summer heat or winter rain. Pay-and-play court hire is available without an FFT licence through online platforms, which suits casual groups and newcomers testing padel for the first time. The site also offers a clubhouse atmosphere with pool access mentioned in club listings, making it a social destination as much as a training base.
Facilities
Court hire is pay-as-you-go without requiring club membership or an FFT licence for casual play — a deliberate choice to lower the barrier for new padel players. Reserve 90-minute padel slots or hourly tennis slots through Anybuddy or the Carreau de Lanes booking site. Opening hours are broadly 09:00 to 23:00 daily. For its peaceful atmosphere and the pleasure of a summer evening by the pool with friends. We were warmly welcomed and the meal was decent. Good value for money.
I was on vacation with a friend, and we received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from Ed. It's a very well-maintained tennis club with a great atmosphere! And the people are relaxed. I'd never played on a clay court before, and it was a fun experience (unfortunately, I lost my match 😉).
Probably the best padel in Nîmes. The setting is pleasant, the courts are well maintained, and the staff are very friendly.
