Membership & Pricing

CAP Tennis Padel is Périgueux's century-old tennis institution at the Stade Roger Dantou on Rue des Izards — the first clay-court club in Dordogne and a Roland Garros–labelled site. With more than 500 licensed members, it added three illuminated outdoor padel pistes to its nine tennis courts (five outdoor clay, four covered indoor clay per older listings; club page cites five outdoor and five indoor halls). The padel courts give Périgueux players a club-home option distinct from the premium La Bandeja complex at Coulounieix-Chamiers. Reviewers highlight superb clay, warm welcome and committed coaches on the tennis side; padel benefits from the same club infrastructure and tournament calendar including 24-hour tennis and padel events.

A historic, legendary club in Périgueux. Superb clay courts. Warm welcome. Top-notch coaches and instructors who are fully committed.

The club offers no fewer than 5 outdoor courts, 6 indoor clay courts, and 2 padel courts! A clubhouse is provided, along with everything needed to maintain the courts after use or water the soil. The setting is pleasant. We would have appreciated one or two shaded courts during the day and perhaps a bit more soil on the courts in some places. It's a great tennis facility!

Great weather for tennis. But no outdoor courts were ready. So all the matches were indoors: four singles and two doubles. Well, "indoor" was more like a warehouse with a sort of clay court. For the top tennis club in the Dordogne, there's still room for improvement. The local team was great, except for the lack of any planned snacks between matches. What a shame. I was expecting much better.

Great complex for the tennis tournament, but the scheduling was poorly organized. They asked me to cash a check on the 26th and only did so two days before. They forgot about my place in the main draw of the 4th series. They scheduled my second round for 7 pm but sent me to my court at 5 pm and then called me because I wasn't there on time—understandable, I was working. Not very happy about any of this.
