Garden Tennis on Allée des Rochers in Royan is a centenary club founded in 1912 on the Pointe du Chay between Pontaillac and downtown, with tennis courts overlooking the Atlantic. The Garden Tennis et Padel brand adds two outdoor sea-view padel courts to eleven clay outdoor tennis courts and three indoor tennis courts. The club-house bar and pro shop sit in a setting tourism sites call unique in France for coastal racket sport. Conviviality, holiday stages, and year-round tournaments define the club atmosphere for locals and summer visitors alike.

Padel court hire, stages, and tournament entry are organised through royan-tennis.fr under the Padel menu, with separate pages for playing, stages, and tournois padel. Tennis offers hourly rental, packages, or annual adhesion. Contact the club by phone or the website contact form for tariff sheets listed as Tarifs padel on the homepage. Online booking for padel is referenced on third-party platforms including Ten'Up. Annual membership and lesson enrolment follow the same Jimdo-based shop system as tennis products on the site.

Super club
A very nice, well-maintained place to practice... Julien provided excellent supervision for 5-6 year olds; a kind and patient instructor. Superb setting
The garden's café is a lovely place to spend a pleasant time with friends by the water. The setting is really cool. The prices might seem a bit high, but the food is truly excellent, which is a real plus. It's a great little spot for the summer.
I agree with the previous review of the TMCs; the information and organization left something to be desired. It was possible to indicate unavailability for both days of the tournament. Since I work on Saturdays, I made myself unavailable for that day. No one contacted me to tell me it was impossible and that I had to play both days (something that wasn't clear on Ten Up), which would have allowed me to cancel my registration. I learned the evening before that I had been summoned for Saturday. I only managed to reach the referee the next morning and learned that I would be declared unavailable for the first match. Despite it being a TMC, some girls played four matches, others two or three. It was incomprehensible; I thought everyone played the same number of matches. No referee was present. No new balls either, but after all, I was playing the last match, so I can partly understand that. I'm frankly disappointed with this experience and won't do it again in the future. Otherwise, the grounds (indoors, as that's all I saw) seem well-maintained.
