Tennis Padel Samauritain (TPS), also known as the Tennis Club Samauritain, is the racket-sports hub for Saint-Maurice-l'Exil in the Isère valley south of Lyon. The club has grown beyond its roots as a tennis-only venue: two new outdoor padel courts joined the site in 2024 alongside two outdoor tennis courts, while the existing indoor hall still houses two heated covered tennis courts in greenset. Padel coaching runs from the autumn term with group sessions open to different levels, and Christophe Besson returned as head coach for competition and leisure players after training at the club himself. The atmosphere is typical of a community French tennis club — tournaments, volunteer organisers and a mix of juniors and veterans — but padel booking and seasonal registration are now handled alongside tennis through the club website and mobile app.
Facilities
Seasonal membership covers both tennis and padel for 2026–2027: download the registration form from the Inscriptions page, complete it and return it in person or by email to contact@tpsamauritain.fr. All ages and levels are welcome, from beginners to competition players. Court hire for padel and tennis is available to account holders through the online booking platform linked from tpsamauritain.fr/reservations.
