Tennis Club Vernaisonnais is a community racket club in Vernaison, on the southern edge of the Lyon metropolitan area in the Rhône. Tennis remains the heart of the club, but padel is now a regular part of the offering with outdoor courts bookable alongside the clay and indoor tennis surfaces. The atmosphere is deliberately family-friendly: members describe a welcoming clubhouse, patient coaching at trial days, and a busy social calendar that mixes sport with pizza evenings and school tennis parties. Padel sits in the same membership and booking system as tennis, so if you already play at a FFT-affiliated club in the region, the workflow will feel familiar. For locals who want padel without travelling into central Lyon, Vernaison is a straightforward neighbourhood option.
Facilities
Annual membership is sold through Ten'Up (select the current-season offers), at the September association forum, by returning a paper enrolment form, or in person by appointment. Members get unrestricted access to padel and tennis courts within the time bands included in their package. Guests can be invited via Ten'Up: padel guests pay about 8 euros per person for a 90-minute or two-hour slot depending on the time band. Members may book up to five days ahead, one slot at a time, and can play with any other member once booked. Basket discounts apply when signing up several family members together. The season starts on 1 September; from that date only enrolled members can reserve courts.
