Membership & Pricing

Saint-Raphaël Country Club is a multi-racket sports complex on Boulevard de l'Aspé in Saint-Raphaël, on the Var coast. Billed as a 100% racket-sport destination, it combines tennis, padel, squash and pickleball in a setting with panoramic Mediterranean views. Four new covered padel courts opened recently, built to modern standards with LED lighting and premium playing surfaces so sessions run year-round regardless of weather. With 21 tennis courts, four squash courts and a well-regarded restaurant on site, the club has been a fixture of the Côte d'Azur sports scene for decades.

Facilities

A 90-minute padel court session costs €9 per person for existing SRCC tennis or squash members, and €12 per person for non-members. Annual padel membership with 40 prepaid sessions costs €360; extra sessions beyond the bundle are €9 at peak times and €6 off-peak. A coaching package at €790 per year adds 90 minutes of weekly padel lessons to the 40-session bundle. The top tier at €1,290 includes two weekly padel lessons plus a tennis plateau. The padel school runs from €260 per year for one hour weekly, or €290 for 90 minutes. A children's combined tennis-and-padel programme costs €380 per year.

Excellent facilities with 21 tennis courts and 4 padel courts. The tennis clubhouse is not large enough for the number of members.

A very disappointing, bordering on scandalous experience. I was dismissed from this club in 2024. From the outset, the registration process left me perplexed: I was asked for a letter of motivation to join, which is rather unusual for a tennis club. I opted for the €470 package, which included weekly sessions (the "tournaments"). What they failed to mention during registration was that half of the complex (Baudino) was going to close, resulting in a prolonged unavailability of the courts. As a result, I had to pay for reservations at other facilities, since I couldn't play at the club—a frankly unacceptable situation given the price. Regarding the reception, I dealt with someone named Momo, who was rather unpleasant and unprofessional. A telling anecdote: on a public holiday, I called to find out if the tournament was still on. Momo confirmed that it was. I live 25 km away, so I made the trip… for nothing. Once there, we found ourselves with only three members and no supervision. After several phone calls and a confusing discussion with reception, we learned that the session was ultimately canceled. When I asked for an explanation, Momo got angry and suggested I come and "tell him to his face," in a rather inappropriate tone. Once I arrived, the coach (who was supposed to lead the session) was called in to help and ended up running the class, following Momo's intervention, who had suddenly calmed down. I'm only giving two stars because of the coaches, who are competent and very friendly. Otherwise, I don't recommend this club, mainly due to its chaotic organization and deplorable reception.

A fantastic club, very pleasant with a beautiful sea view. It's a real pleasure to play there, with consistently excellent instructors. The lessons are designed to help you progress while having fun. Very well run.
