Membership & Pricing

Planète Raquettes is an independent padel-and-tennis hub on Rue Gambetta in Vulaines-sur-Seine, a short drive from Fontainebleau. Marc Chamaillard opened the shop in 2019, spotted padel early, and has since expanded from two courts to four covered lanes to keep up with demand that was running near saturation. The site works as club, retail and coaching base in one: play a match, restring a racket downstairs, then debrief over charcuterie in the 60 m² club house. Chamaillard still runs the counter and reviewers consistently mention hands-on gear advice. Weekends and school holidays fill fast — roughly a hundred booked hours per court per week at peak — so advance booking is the norm.

Facilities

Court hire by the hour or 90-minute slot with off-peak and peak per-player pricing (from about €8–10 per player per hour off-peak). Annual memberships around €450–770 depending on peak/off-peak access, with 10% shop discount and €5 tournament entry discount. Ten-hour packs and student rates available. Group lessons: adult programmes (~€730 per quartet for 28 weeks) and kids courses (~€400). Monthly lesson subscriptions from €69. Book via the club website or phone.

We come here very regularly. The 4 indoor courts are great and it's not too hot in the summer with the new side opening system. Booking online is easy and there's an area to eat and have a drink after your workout. The shop is well stocked with all the equipment and clothing for padel and tennis. And with very good advice as a bonus. A must-see!
