Bushy Park Tennis and Padel Club is a racquet centre in Bushy Park, Terenure (Rathdown Avenue, Dublin 6W). It combines nine tennis courts with four outdoor padel courts in a park setting managed with Dublin City Council and affiliated to the Padel Federation of Ireland for padel and Tennis Ireland for tennis. The club runs structured padel academies from complete beginner through performance level, plus round robins and junior tennis programmes, so it feels like a proper coaching hub rather than a bare hire facility. Head padel coach Alvaro Cabello is frequently mentioned in reviews, with other padel coaches including Gonzalo Noguera, Javier Lopez and Jack Curran. Players describe the club as well organised and relatively affordable by Dublin standards, with a friendly coaching culture. Casual pay-and-play sits alongside annual membership for regulars who want broader court access.
Facilities
Pay and play is available, and all players usually need to register on the club booking system before playing. Annual membership packages (family, adult, student, junior and other categories listed on club materials) give access to tennis, padel and basketball courts during operating hours when courts are free, with terms published on the club site. Members get around 10% off shop items. Padel Academy programmes run at graded levels from Beginner 0 through Performance +3.5, plus beginner round robins. Private and group coaching is available through the professional team led by Alvaro Cabello. Contact is 01 490 5960 or info@bushytennispadel.ie.

Great tennis & padel facilities and coaching,
Great coaches and a friendly place to play rennis
On Sunday evening, I injured myself while playing padel which caused my toe nail to come off which also led to a lot of bleeding and bad bruising. My girlfriend went in looking for a first aid kit and the young guy that served us earlier wasn’t at the reception he was out playing padel himself so she went out to get him she explained the issue and ask for the first aid kit which she was told there was none and handed her plasters and blue roll, no question as to what happened or what is wrong, he just went straight back out to play padel. I had to limp to the office where nobody was there because the he was out playing padel, when he eventually came in to answer a phone I asked him myself for a first aid kid and he said “there’s one but it shit”. He was right there was nothing useable so I had to use multiple small plasters to cover up the wound where my nail used to be so could drive home. The worker and others around playing had seen me struggling and no one bothered to check. I think it is very unprofessional not to follow up on someone asking the question of “do you have a first aid kit” and also not having a decent first aid kit available. I had to put multiple small plasters over my toe and a sock and a shoe back over it just so I can drive home and in the time I could have got an infection due to zero necessities in the “first aid kit” and no concern from anybody. Maybe it’s because it’s a Sunday but something really serious could have happened and not a care in the world would have been given.
