Naas Lawn Tennis Club sits on the Dublin Road in Oldtown, Naas, and ranks among the oldest sports clubs in Ireland as well as the largest tennis club in County Kildare. Long known as one of the country's "Big Five" tennis clubs, it has grown into a member-run venue where tennis and padel sit side by side. The padel offering arrived in 2023 with two Padel Galis Mundial courts built for club members, giving the Kildare community a proper doubles game without leaving the existing club grounds. Floodlights run late into the evening, and the club frames padel as a social sport that is easy to start and hard to stop — beginners, improvers, and regulars all share the same courts. Weekly social sessions, structured lessons, and club tournaments or leagues keep the padel scene busy year-round. Court use is members-only and booked online, so visitors who want to play need to join first rather than drop in as pay-and-play guests.
Facilities
Padel courts at Naas LTC are for members only, so joining the club is the route into play. Membership runs on the calendar year with no entry levy and no one-off joining fee — unusual for a club of this size — and fees are reduced by quarter for new joiners (25% from 1 April, 50% from 1 July, 75% from 1 October). Published 2026 full-year rates include Family €720, Couple €590, Senior €360, Student €145, Junior €135, Country €155, and Pavilion €60. Applications go to the club office for processing by administrator Theresa, then formal approval by the Executive Committee. Once accepted, members receive online booking login details and a floodlight fob. Contact for membership queries is membership@naasltc.net or 045-866035; office hours are Monday–Thursday 09:30–13:30. Members can book padel and tennis courts online and tap into lessons, socials, competitions, and the wider club calendar.

Wonderful location and decent size. Plenty tennis courts, also under the dome. 2 padel courts - not enough, but there is a chance there will be more soon. Club is very active. A lot of tournaments, coaching sessions, etc. All levels welcome.
Excellent facilities and a friendly club, was made very welcome for a tournament (didnt play great unfortunately) but enjoyed the day and the weather was fab....Will definitely go back when I improve 😉😎🎾😊

Est in the 19th century with 21st century facilities. Welcoming warm reception and great encouragement from members to join up and enjoy tennis. High end courts incl clay..and padel tennis. Highly recommend
