Campo Sportivo Comunale Ceretto is the municipal sports hub in the San Bartolomeo area of Castagnole delle Lanze, in the Asti hills between Alba and the Langhe. Run day to day by Polisportiva Castagnolese ASD, it draws families for football, volleyball, youth soccer, skating, dance and gym sessions. Since 2022 the Ceretto centre has added Lanze Padel: two covered and heated padel courts among the few in the Astigiano with year-round play. The site sits among vineyards with a popular bar, ample parking that fills on busy evenings, and a social atmosphere where sport and local life overlap.
Facilities
Book Lanze Padel courts via WhatsApp at +39 347 785 8204 as advertised by the municipality and Polisportiva. Follow @centro_sportivo_castagnole on Instagram for updates, events and centre news—the listed website redirects to that profile. Sports clubs using the Ceretto site enrol through their respective associations under Polisportiva coordination. The bar and restaurant side accepts casual visitors for drinks and food without needing a sports membership. Contact Polisportiva Castagnolese for padel lesson availability; reviewers mention strong local instructors on the padel courts.

The volleyball courts are very small. The bar is very good.
Very nice sports center: ample parking, spacious and well-stocked bar. My rating is only 3 stars because my evaluation is also based on the volleyball court. The court is very small, with very little space for spectators, and it's not even within regulation limits, given that after the outbound lines, there's only about 30 cm. Furthermore, there's a noticeable rumble that's very annoying, and after a set, you might want to go for a walk, otherwise you'll get a headache. Anyway, the championship is CSI, for six players, but there are some rules that aren't respected, like the court dimensions, and this isn't within regulation limits. Then again, for the rest, it's very pretty, surrounded by vineyards. So, the view is quite remarkable.
The atmosphere is very casual, the food is good, and the service is equally good. Recommended for a casual evening with friends.
Young, friendly people, relaxed, music, and sports. Sports to play and watch. A very popular location in a green area, so much so that adequate parking is often lacking. Two padel courts with top-notch instructors. Traditional volleyball teams with students from neighboring towns. Youth soccer training that nurtures promising champions of tomorrow. High-end bar with local beers and wines.
Disrespectful staff and poorly organized structure
