Sporting Club Mondovì is a multi-sport centre on Via delle Oche in Mondovì, in the hills of Cuneo province. Tennis has been the heart of the club for decades, but padel, swimming and beach sports now share the same large site with easy parking. Three padel courts—one open-air and two covered—let you play through the Piedmont winter as well as summer. The complex also runs clay and synthetic tennis courts, an outdoor pool with views toward the Alps, beach volleyball and beach tennis, plus the San Lorenzo restaurant and bar. It feels like a local country club where families mix sport, pool time and terrace meals.
Facilities
Court bookings for padel and tennis go through sportingmondovi.wansport.com. For padel enquiries and reservations contact the secretariat on +39 331 608 4666 (Noemi Miragoli) or the dedicated padel line +39 375 602 1705. Tennis membership and coaching sit under instructor Andrea Giudice, with minitenis, youth pre-aggressive and adult courses, private lessons, summer clinics and FIT tournament calendars. The Estate Ragazzi holiday scheme runs weekdays for children aged five to fourteen with tennis, pool, football and workshops. Restaurant reservations and event catering use the same club mobile. General contact is info@sportingmondovi.it or the landline 0174 554665.

A large and well-structured sports club, a hub for tennis, recreational activities, and summer activities for kids. It features ten clay tennis courts, padel courts, a swimming pool, a bar, and a reasonably priced restaurant. The large adjacent parking lot makes it easy to access, making it a modern, welcoming, and well-equipped facility. Friendly staff contribute to maintaining the high standard of the center.
Unfortunately, I'll have to disappoint my daughter and force her to give up the tennis lessons she took last year, as the price will go up from €480 to €600 to €670. Unfortunately, salaries aren't increasing at the same rate, and we can no longer afford them. Thank you! Furthermore, last year's lack of communication, especially on important matters like changing instructors, was completely appalling.
Sports club with outdoor pool, tennis, soccer, paddle tennis, and beach volleyball. Very welcoming. Well-maintained clay courts. Friendly and qualified staff. Excellent bar and restaurant at reasonable prices.
We went to the pool because my son took some private swimming lessons. The location was very nice. The facilities weren't particularly tidy, but they were reasonably clean. The staff at the bar and poolside were friendly. Special mention goes to the swimming instructors, especially Riccardo, who were truly excellent. My son learned more in five lessons there than he did in a year of group lessons at the pool.
The location is beautiful, the pool clean, tidy, and not chaotic, perfect for those looking to spend an afternoon sunbathing and relaxing. The lifeguards are kind and helpful, always ready to help and constantly sanitizing the loungers. The only downside was the lack of empathy from the receptionist, who was probably annoyed by being in Mondovi over the August bank holiday weekend, and it was a real turnoff. I had called two days in advance to inquire and book for Saturday the 14th. The person on the phone specifically said the full day was €15, with €12 starting at 2:00 PM. Knowing we wouldn't be able to arrive earlier, I asked if it was possible to book starting at 2:00 PM. No problem. We arrived on Saturday, and the receptionist charged me €40 (two adults, an 8-year-old child, and a 5-year-old). Ignoring the amount, I pay by debit card (they give me a receipt for the electronic transaction...the commercial one obviously doesn't exist...). We use the pool, which is truly beautiful, use the bar, and around 5:30 PM we decide to leave. While waiting to change in the changing room, I check the notices on the noticeboard and notice the rates... 12 euros after 2 PM for two adults + 8 euros for an 8-year-old child after 2 PM + a non-paying 5-year-old child... basically, I should have spent 32 euros in total. I go into the reception...and the person is already huffing and puffing...I politely ask for more information and am annoyedly told that (despite booking by phone...) the rate is still charged per day because "we reserve the loungers for you all day anyway," and that's what they say over the phone. (I'm not entirely convinced that if someone had shown up in the morning, they would have refused to let me in because my loungers were already reserved for me... oh well...) I politely retort that this isn't what I was told and, at her insistence, suggest that the person who took the reservation, who had also written my name on the guest list, adding four people starting at 2:00 PM, give a proper refresher. Despite this evidence, there's nothing they can do... I cordially say goodbye, saying that this isn't the right way to behave, but the person in front of me is just a wall, annoyed, and looks at me like I'm an idiot. I'm sorry because the location is truly beautiful, but we'll definitely choose places with more accommodating people. This person clearly cares little or nothing about the commercial needs of her employer. I'm sorry to have to give such a low rating, but leaving nervously left me with a bad impression of what had otherwise been a very peaceful and fun afternoon with my children. Obviously, I couldn't care less about the extra 8 euros I paid. If I were attached to that, I would have noticed it immediately and raised my hand. It was purely a matter of principle. Never mind...
