Scuola Tennis Giordano (STG) calls itself the Monregalese tennis and padel family, running the Branzola sports centre in Villanova Mondovi on Via Pianfei. Founded in 2018 with a first court at Baretto di Mondovi, the project moved to this quiet hillside site and has grown into a community hub for racket sport in the Cuneo province. The centre combines competitive pathways with a social bar and event calendar. Qualified coaches work across mini-tennis, junior and adult programmes for both tennis and padel, with a national FITP padel instructor leading group and private lessons. Summer Estatenis and Padel camps mix daily coaching with padel, calcetto, beach tennis and beach volleyball on the same campus.
Facilities
Annual membership (tesseramento) opens access to courses, tournaments and club life. Winter 2025-26 programmes cover mini-tennis from age four, junior red-orange-green groups, pre-agelite and competitive tennis, adult starter and competitive tennis, minipadel up to 18, and adult competitive padel including Serie D entry bundled with the agonistic package. Private and pair lesson packs are available, with one free lesson in prepaid packages. Court booking for tennis, padel, calcetto and beach volleyball is handled online. Open days run in mid-September for new season enrolment.

I have had the pleasure and honor of witnessing and contributing to the birth and growth of the Giordano Tennis School since its inception. From the first court at Baretto di Mondovì in September 2018 to the current facility in Villanova Mondovì, the project has been a valuable and formative experience for me, combining vision and passion. I was also able to document the early moments of play, tournaments, and events through photography, an activity that for me had a human and educational value, allowing me to meet different people, athletes, and communities. For this, I carry with me gratitude and appreciation. Located in the quiet hamlet of Branzola, the STG has become, year after year, a reference point for tennis and padel. The facility includes two clay courts, a mixed synthetic court, two covered padel courts, a beach volleyball court, locker rooms, a large lawn, and convenient parking. Every space is designed to foster encounters, dialogue, and sports-related socializing. The qualified and motivated instructors focus on the growth of young athletes, supporting them in both technical and personal aspects. From mini-tennis courses to competitive programs, each program is designed with professionalism and care. The atmosphere, always informal and engaging, is enriched by events and tournaments that transform sport into a community experience. I'm pleased that the recommendation to open a bar has come to fruition, becoming a meeting space that complements the center's experience. Among my suggestions for the future, I believe it's important to preserve the moral legacy and human dimension of the project over time, so that it remains strong and lasting. The cost is in the medium-high range, but it's proportionate to the quality of the program and the opportunities the school offers. Ultimately, the Giordano Tennis School is much more than just a school: it's a hub of growth, passion, and community. It's a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who believes that sport is also about education, culture, and relationships.
Very tidy
I can only speak about tennis. Clay courts. In good condition. I'm currently playing in the "ball court" mode. So it's noisy and the clay stays dry and fast. 30 euros an hour.
