Rapallo Padel is a small outdoor padel facility in the Ronco locality on the edge of Rapallo, a short drive from the Ligurian coast in the Tigullio Gulf. Two panoramic courts sit in greenery with views over the surrounding hills — reviewers describe a pleasant, slightly hidden setting close to town. The centre operates on a self-service model through Playtomic: you book online, receive access codes, and let yourself onto court without a staffed reception. That keeps costs down and appeals to visitors passing through Rapallo, but first-time arrivals should allow extra time to find the exact entrance.

Book exclusively through Playtomic (search Padel Rapallo, locality Ronco). Pricing appears competitive for the Tigullio — several reviews describe rates as fair compared with Santa Margherita or Chiavari clubs. No membership is required; pay per slot online. Tournament events such as the NORQAIN Padel charity format have used the Viale Milano courts with two fields available for afternoon sessions.

I booked the court through the Playtomic app; unfortunately, the directions on the app took me to the middle of nowhere. After a good 30 minutes of searching for the exact location (no signage or other guidance whatsoever), I contacted the manager, who was very annoyed and gave me information that was confusing for someone like me who isn't from the area. Once we arrived, there was no one to greet us; we were given codes to access the court and the locker room, which was dirty and dark. Most of the rackets were in terrible condition, as were the balls provided by the center; not to mention the dirt on the sidelines, which I've attached photos of.
Beautiful courts in a pleasant setting, surrounded by some greenery and offering a lovely view. Unfortunately, since they're always uncovered, they're practically unusable for a day or two when it rains. Another drawback is that the balls are practically unrecoverable when they fall from the balcony.
Very interesting infrastructure. It remains somewhat hidden and abandoned.
