Spatia Comporta is a luxury coastal resort in the Alentejo pine forests near Comporta, where padel sits alongside tennis and pickleball as a guest-only racquet offering. Courts are not open to casual public hire; they form part of the hotel experience in partnership with Rackets Pro, Portugal’s racquets academy. Weekly complimentary tennis and padel clinics run for in-house guests with limited places, while private lessons and multi-day summer immersion packages add six hours of coaching across two nights. The setting trades floodlit municipal warehouses for Atlantic breezes, heated pools and ŌRA restaurant service after your session.

Facilities

Padel access requires a stay at Spatia Comporta or enrollment in a Rackets Pro package such as the three-day summer immersion from about 1,295 euros for academy members, including lodging and meals. Nonguests cannot walk on to rent a court. Reserve clinics and private lessons through the hotel concierge or the tennis-padel program page on spatiacomporta.com. Immersion dates run across the summer season with six hours of private coaching plus practice time. Public court-hire tariffs do not apply because the product is hospitality-led.

We loved our stay here this week! Service was excellent. Lots of little touches that made things special. Breakfast is fantastic and included in the price. All of the staff were great but we would like to call out Denil specifically for his warm hospitality, right from check-in and throughout. The gym is really well equipped and the pool is heated and in a great setting. Whilst we didn’t have time to use the padel / tennis courts, they are a great facility. We recommend staying in a Cabana as they are at the newer end of the property near the new pool and restaurant facilities. We walked to the other end of the site where the other rooms are and the facilities are are a bit older and smaller. Electric charging points (6) were also free to use. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

What a lovely hotel and facility for a chilled out, relaxed time. The rooms are fabulous, very private and stylish. It's very easy to fall in love with the serenity and beauty of this hotel. The staff are fantastic, could not do enough for us, yet you are still left alone to relax. A very beautiful and stylish design with great respect and thought to nature and ecology. We will recommend here to all or friends. Well done

I really enjoyed my stay at Spatia Comporta. The setting in the pine forest is beautiful, calm, and makes you feel completely away from the city. The architecture blends perfectly with nature, with lots of wood, natural light, and a sense of space and simplicity. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with terraces that make you feel surrounded by nature. Breakfast was a highlight — fresh, local products, beautifully prepared, and one of the best ways to start the day. The pool area is also very relaxing, a perfect place to slow down and recharge. It’s important to know that the property is a little remote, so having a car makes everything easier. Also, in the evenings the outdoor lighting is quite low, which adds to the atmosphere but can make moving around less practical. Overall, Spatia Comporta is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for peace, design, and nature all in one place. It’s a perfect retreat to unwind and get inspired

I have very few words to describe how amazing our stay at Spatia was. They treated us with such care and love! I hate to leave a review because I’d prefer to keep this place secret but they deserve it. I have never been treated as nicely as I did here. The hotel itself is so well designed, our room was perfect for a weekend away. The breakfast was also something to write home about. We will be back very very soon! Thank you Spatia stuff. You made our weekend unforgettable ❤️

We stayed at Spatia Comporta, and while the property itself is beautiful and full of potential, I honestly feel it doesn’t live up to a true five-star standard. The service was inconsistent, the shower pressure was weak, the food was average, and the overall quality of materials and maintenance didn’t reflect the price or the luxury level one would expect. Everything felt like it was done with good intentions, but not taken all the way — there’s a lack of precision and attention to detail. I’m generally an optimistic person and not one to leave negative reviews, but in this case, I felt it was important to share honest feedback. We paid a premium price and expected an experience to match, which unfortunately wasn’t the case. That said, the place has a lot of charm and potential — with more focus on quality and service, it could truly become exceptional.
