Pedras Tenis & Padel Academy (Padel Casa Soul)

This is a cute tennis and padel club set in a peaceful suburb. It has 4 tennis courts and 4 padel courts. There's a nice bar and outside seating area, a book swap and a small sports shop for tennis balls and padel balls, grips, etc. You can find the place on playtomic to book courts. A lot of expats here. Mostly friendly, although some old grumpy British dude stormed onto our court one morning claiming he plays there every Monday and it's his court. His 3 companions looked pretty mortified at the lack of social skills or basic manners the guy showed us as guests. We'd booked the court via playtomic and so the staff here told the guy he's on another court and all good, though he could have definitely apologised, his attitude is so unwelcoming to new people or visitors.

We were playing Bowls with a private members club. Facilities good.

Super helpful staff and easy to book. Provided rental rackets and balls. Answered questions via WhatsApp. 4 outdoor hardcourt tennis and 4 padel courts. Coaching is available. Clubhouse providing drinks and some food too. Live Music weekly. Highly recommend.

Nothing fancy, yet great prices, resident and non resident. Bit of a bother to download an app, register your residence card and pay online. No frills cafe. Decent and fun.
