The club name reflects the hotel brand rather than a standalone padel-only venue, but both courts are open to the public as well as guests. There are two outdoor padel courts with synthetic grass surfaces, described on the hotel site as brand new and built for leisure players and regular hobbyists alike. The setting is typical of southern Portugal: open-air play under Alentejo sun, with bar service from the hotel so you can order drinks without leaving the court area. Beja is a quiet provincial city, so Melius fills a local gap for padel in the Beja district where dedicated clubs are thin on the ground. Booking has moved from the legacy AirCourts platform to Playtomic, though reception still handles reservations and payment for walk-in enquiries. Facilities
No traditional club membership is required. Reserve a court through Playtomic (search Hotel Melius or Melius Padel) or ask at Hotel Melius reception, which remains the payment point according to the AirCourts migration notice. The service is explicitly open to non-guests, so you do not need a room booking to play. Hours are broadly 08:00 to 22:00 daily on directory listings, with Playtomic showing 09:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and the same window on holidays; confirm the slot when booking. Pay at reception after online reservation where that workflow applies. Hotel guests can book padel alongside their stay. Private parking at the hotel carries a daily fee for non-residents on some booking sites, so check current rates if you drive in. Casual pay-as-you-play is the model throughout.
