The Campos de Padel in Mortágua are municipal courts managed by the Câmara Municipal de Mortágua. They sit in the locality of Gândara as part of the Complexo Desportivo da Escola Básica Dr. Afonso Abrantes. The complex has two clearly identified padel courts, used first and foremost for padel itself, with room for complementary programmes such as holiday camps, personal training, and other activities the council authorises. Those activities can be educational, recreational, competitive, or oriented toward fitness and coaching. Access is controlled: only players with a booking validated through the official reservation platform (reservas.cm-mortagua.pt) or another channel indicated by municipal services may use the courts. Formal usage norms are published on the council website, including a downloadable PDF. The infrastructure carries civil liability insurance covering damage caused by the facility itself. Users remain responsible for damage they cause and for following kit and conduct rules on glass-walled courts.
Facilities
There is no private club membership. Hire is public and pay-per-use under the municipal price table in force. A standard booking covers four players for one hour and thirty minutes and only becomes valid once payment is collected. Reservations can be made on the municipal platform at reservas.cm-mortagua.pt (registration and login required) or through another channel the council indicates. Bookings may be made up to seven days ahead. Cancellation or postponement is accepted with at least 24 hours' notice. A 15-minute late arrival tolerance applies; after that the slot may be released. Overrunning the booked time can trigger a half-period or full-period charge. Training, leisure, or competitive events outside ordinary hire are priced by quotation rather than the standard table.
