The Polideportivo Municipal de Alcuéscar is the town’s main public sports complex in Cáceres province, Extremadura. Listed by the Ayuntamiento de Alcuéscar among its municipal facilities, it centres on padel alongside wider community sport. Visitor accounts describe padel courts within a broader site that also includes a multi-use hall for futsal and basketball and a full-size artificial-turf football pitch with markings for seven-a-side. A Sport BS project for the town hall records installation of a Sport BS padel court with a roof structure, glass, artificial turf, sand and joining bands, so play is available with weather protection. Use of the municipal padel and tennis courts is governed by a published local ordinance on operation and public fees, reflecting a council-run venue rather than a private club.

Facilities

Play is organised through the Ayuntamiento’s reservation service rather than a private membership club. Residents (empadronados) and non-residents can register for the padel booking service by submitting a standard application and paying the public fee into the council account; residents also need a municipal registration certificate. Bookings are made in person at the Town Hall or other centres designated by the council, in one-hour blocks with a maximum of two hours per user per day, with payment due at the time of reservation. Published tariffs distinguish natural light from artificial lighting and charge residents less than non-residents: residents 2 euro per hour without lights and 3 euro with lights; non-residents 4 euro and 6 euro respectively. An electronic access card is issued after payment. Tennis use under the same ordinance carries no public fee. Unused bookings may be refunded if justified; weather or court conditions can allow a reschedule or refund through the council process.

Alcuéscar boasts a top-notch sports complex. It features padel courts, a multi-sports court for futsal and basketball, and a full-size artificial turf football pitch with designated areas for seven-a-side football. In short, it's a fantastic space for playing sports.
