Membership & Pricing
Football field Blas Alonso Belmonte sits within Complejo Deportivo Las Marinicas, the main municipal sports ground in Carboneras (Almería). Alongside the 11-a-side pitch that carries the Blas Belmonte name and a separate 7-a-side field, the complex offers padel and tennis courts for local players and visitors. The Town Hall promotes padel as one of the activities available in Carboneras, together with tennis and other directed sports programmes. The site sits in a municipality known for outdoor sport, with Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park nearby, and the complex is the place where football clubs and racket-sport users share the same municipal facilities.
Facilities
The Ayuntamiento de Carboneras promotes sports schools and directed activities that include padel and tennis, aimed at residents and visitors of different ages. Online booking for municipal sports facilities is advertised on the Town Hall sports page but marked as coming soon, so court hire is currently handled through the municipal sports service rather than a self-service portal. There is no public membership tariff published on the site; enquiries go through the Town Hall sports contact.

In the summer you burn to a crisp, and in the winter, when it's windy and cold, you freeze. There are no shaded areas or places to take shelter.
Home to the two Carboneras football clubs. The starting point for the mighty Argentine twins, who will surely go far. We watched a match with some local friends. It was electrifying.
There's no bar service. To buy a simple bottle of water, you have to go to the town center, and if you don't have a car, the game ends and you won't get there because it's on the outskirts of town. 😡 There's also no shade, so at midday you either have to bring an umbrella or you'll be roasted.
A good sports complex for practicing sports: soccer, tennis, paddle tennis... although in my opinion it needs some maintenance in certain areas.
It has two football pitches, two tennis courts and four padel courts.
